On Friday 26th January, all students received a Keeping Safe assembly centered around conflict resolution from our Designated Safeguard Lead (DSL), Mr Hewitt. It was frank, open, and honest assembly about disagreement and fall out that all people experience at one time or another in life. The impact on emotions and mental health were discussed, specifically in relation to the role that social media can play in the lives of our students. Mr Hewitt emphasised the importance of talking to a trusted adult as early as possible to help students manage their feelings and understand a way to move forward with the situation in a safe and responsible way.
