In school, we are fortunate to have a dedicated group of pupils known as "CARITAS Ambassadors." Their role is multifaceted, beginning with the upkeep of the Sacred Space area, including changing the colours and cloth to align with the liturgical year, with specific guidance on when these changes should occur. Additionally, they manage the banners, ensuring they are collected from and returned to Mrs. Bretherton as needed. Twice a year, during our Charity drives, CARITAS Ambassadors play a crucial role in rallying their peers to participate, offering creative ideas and support to each form. They are also entrusted with monitoring and updating the charity gauge, as well as collecting and labelling donations, which are then delivered to the office in a secure manner. The ambassadors' dedication to these responsibilities is underscored by their formal commissioning by Kath Ansley from CARITAS SALFORD, whom they met during Mission Week, highlighting their integral role in serving the community on behalf of the Bishop.
