Today we visited the Etihad Stadium home of Manchester City with all our Year 10 PE students. The groups had a lesson on Business and Commercialisation in Sport along with a tour of the ground, changing rooms and even going pitch side.
"On Monday, we were invited to Manchester City's Etihad stadium tour. We started off with an educational lesson on sponsorships, media, advertising and more. They also showed us more about how much behind the scenes goes on for match day, and how much they work to make our experience on match day as smooth as possible. We then followed onto our stadium tour which was very interesting to learn about where the players performed. Overall, this trip was a great experience, and I had a great time"
