Thursday 3rd July Mrs Bretherton and Mrs Holt with three year 8 students travelled to Wardley Hall for the final of the Laudato Si Garden competition. It was a very close competition, and we were narrowly beaten into second place. The girls received a plant, a book and a certificate for their hard work in the garden, this was presented by the Bishop. They then got advice from Emily who works at the centre on edible flowers that can be used in salads. The girls have come back with lots of ideas to improve our school peace and eco garden and are determined to go for a win next year. Well done Isla S, Daisy C and Sophia D A fantastic achievement.
