On Tuesday, the safeguarding team delivered a Keeping Safe assembly to all pupils, focusing on the importance of staying safe and standing up against discrimination. We reminded students about the importance of respect for everyone and regularly reinforce the concept of protected characteristics to ensure ongoing awareness. Pupils were encouraged to speak up if they ever feel something is wrong or if they witness any form of discrimination or bullying. We highlighted the key staff members they can turn to for support.
Additionally, our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors and Digital Disciples gave pledges on how they will support their peers this year. They are committed to creating a safer, kinder environment both in person and online. We’re confident that together we can foster a positive, inclusive community.
