Students’ admission into Year 7 in September is arranged by the Area Education Office in line with our admissions policy. Details concerning the application process for places at local secondary schools are published on the County Council website which is available in the Autumn Term.

Student admissions in Year 7 at times other than September, and at any time for students in Years 8 – 11, are dealt with directly by the school. The school’s standard admission number for Year 7 in September is 93. Parents who are initially unsuccessful in obtaining a place at the school may appeal. Details of this procedure can be obtained from the Area Education Office, at the above address.
The Area Education Office can also provide parents with advice about financial assistance towards the cost of transport for students to and from school, midday meals without payment and grants for essential clothing and equipment.
