"THE BIG LENT WALK
The whole of Year 7 took part in The Big Lent walk to raise money for CAFOD. CAFOD are dedicated to combatting poverty around the world and Year 7 have enthusiastically and generously contributed their efforts towards this. Pupils, staff, and dogs too, braved the wind and, luckily, avoided the rain and lapped the school grounds to show their support.
Our target was to collectively walk 200km. Year 7 absolutely smashed this target, and walked a whopping 496KM around the school grounds (with some students individually completing 13.5KM each!)! WELL DONE YEAR 7!
