The pupils of KS3 celebrated National Poetry Day on the 5th of October. Pupils studied this year's theme of refuge and came up with their own blackout poems based on the theme. We ran a competition and had some absolutely fantastic entries! Well done to Sophia in year 7 - 1st place, Poppy in year 9 - 2nd place, and Eva-Mae in year 8 - 3rd place. A huge thank you to all who entered - a collection of the poems will be displayed in school.
