Our Deputy DSL, Miss Bethwaite delivered an Anti-bullying assembly to all pupils as part of Anti-bullying week. It kicked off with odd socks day - a way to recognize and celebrate that we are all unique. Pupils were shown the ABA definition below; explored different types of bullying and how they can report concerns to their Form Tutor, Head of Year or serious concerns to the DSL team.
Bullying is the repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. It can happen face to face or online.
